Here's an RV Park located not too far from Bass Lake. http://sierrameadows.com/rv-park/

It's nice, I've been by it many times (there's a golf course right there) but have never stayed since I'm somewhat local and don't have an RV. It's a little less than a 30 minute drive to Bass lake - only 14 miles but some of the roads are windy.

If you've never ridden the Sugar Pine Train, I highly recommend it and it is particularly cool at night! They serve a nice meal with the night ride so one less dinner you have to worry about.

Wow, what a coincidence. You must have had a lot of influence with where they held it lol

Not only will Jim Wangers give a presentation, Doug Norrdin, owner of Global West Suspension will be a featured speaker. He will have with him his "company platform:, his very own '65 GTO.

This Little Indian will be going to Bass Lake. Another member Steve will be with me, we are so looking forward to the show. Both our 63's are in "construction" at the moment so were taking the cameras instead. Any other Little Indians going ???

Received this email today from Brian Massey:

I just got off the phone with our contact at The Pines. The fire is moving away from them, and is nearing containment, It never crossed the lake, and The PInes Resort was never really threatened. The "mop-up" process will continue for several more days, but any real threat seems to have passed.

Unless something unforeseen at this time happens, our convention will go on, and it will be as though nothing happened; at least as far as the convention is concerned. Our prayers certainly go out to all of the families affected.

Brian

Had a great time, meet some very nice people, many beautiful cars. Also won a few raffle prizes. Too bad that the sky opened up early but we in CA sure need the rain.
Overall a good show, missed on getting an event shirt, sold out 10 mins. before I asked.
