Thanks all...had a lot of help from the board with some badly needed pictures. I had a lot of background knowledge as far as assembly, but i didn't take most of this one apart so that still presents a challenge when it comes to getting the details right. Chris, NYGTO, Ron Cozzo and Tempest1964 have been priceless with their help with photos. Chief.... I like my "FORD" sign.... don't want to bite the hand that feeds me if ya know what i mean. There's a good chance i worked on your truck at one point. I still love the old Pontiacs the most though.

Beautiful work Cardo! You're almost caught up to my 66 LeMans project. I expect you'll finish before me.

I made a Picture File to save your outstanding work on the 1965 Lemans.

Cardo, I'm glad to be of assistance. Considering the help I've received from the people on this site over the years, it's least I could do and I enjoy giving back at any time.

Thanks again. Ron, I'm hoping for side by side next year for sure! I'm hoping we can pull that one off. A bit slower the rest of the week, but still making progress. A final shot before the rear is finished off. Got the bumper and gas tank in, and the steering column too.

WA HOO! is right! Still ironing out details, but it pulls pretty well for the driveway anyway! Pulled it outside today to soak up some sun and help seat the front and rear windshield. I was in the garage and heard something outside. Looked out the door, and saw the windshield had cracked after sitting out in the sun for 3 hours!!!!! One step forward 2 steps back! Wild Cat, I've been watching your thread, your'e going to have a beautiful ride when you finish, and Ron I've seen yours and it's awesome! Hoping for side by side at Norwalk next year Ron. I'm hoping to have this totally finished late this fall. I've got a list of details a mile long to finish, but this is a really big day one that came home in pieces.

Nice driveway when you can hit second gear. Sorry about the windshield, but when you build the whole thing, you know anything can be fixed. See you soon

Still putting along, but back at work so not quite as fast. Just got car back from paint - mirror holes were in the wrong spot, (my fault) so had to get that fixed and he installed the front sheet metal while it was there. Went ahead and got the alignment done too while it was already in the trailer. Still working on tail panel trim piece, interior and a few other odds and ends but i think it will be ready for the road by spring.

FYI: Your alignment will be off due to the missing front end pieces. You would be surprised how much a front end drops when all the parts are in place.
