Default Ebay sign in

I've tried to sign in to Ebay tonight and every time I get a box that is asking for a credit card # to verify my account. Another else having this problem?

Nope, just signed into my E-Bay with no problem. Sounds like your E-Bay sign in page was hacked with a redirect to a malicious site requesting credit card info. A pretty common scheme. Don't do it. E-Bay has other ways to verify if needed, such as a security question, etc. Asking for info like credit card and password info is an obvious scam.

Might your cc expiration date have come around since your last log in?

My eBay sign-in is still normal.

PayPal would be interested in credit card expirations but not eBay.

I cant see ebay ever prompting you for a CC to sign in. Maybe switch browsers and try again, just out of curiosity. Or maybe try to login on a smart phone or something.

Ebay has pretty decent customer service, they saved me from a particular savvy scam last year. I didn't even notice it, was very subtle but ebay caught it and intervened.
