Nissan 2020 sunset drift Chromaflair
I'm looking at painting my car in the next little while I'm currently checking some places out now.....and this Sunset drift Orange has really caught my eye....and of course I know next to nothing about paint codes etc
Is this paint a BC/CC ????? ....I guess what I'm wondering is how difficult would this particular paint be to lay down on a car...???? I'm not painting the car myself ...just wanna be sure who ever I have paint the car can do the job....effectively......thanks

Color looks great- I don’t think it would be any harder than any other color. I’m sure it’s available in base/clear

I'm assuming it's a metallic paint, and like many metallic paints these days, they go really bonkers with the size and amount of metal flake. Although I'm not a painter, I know enough to understand that getting an even mix and distribution of flakes in paints like this can be rather challenging. Certainly not a task for the inexperienced or underexperienced.

Most likely a pearl tri-coat (or worse). A neighbor has the same color on his Nissan, and it certainly is an eye catcher! Contact your local paint supplier for the specifics.

Many times you can replicate the paint code of a tint coat paint with a BB/CC Paint. That said , it will be easier to repair, but have less depth. One way to "emulate" the 3 stage paint is to tint the sealer coat. If set on it, you should go to a Nissmo forum and find out what color sealer was used at factory. (I am guessing light gray, then silver base).
