anti-hop bar bushing
Hi,
I'm wondering if I can use a stock style bushing for the anti-hop bars, or if I have to buy another one. Can't find any information about it. Car is a 66 GTO with manual transmission. I have these: https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...tiac/model/gto I don't want to buy a complete new set of anti-hop bars just because of the bushings. Do you think these would fit? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mog-k5161 Thank you! Chris |

Here is the number to their tech line;
952.985.5675 Support. Open 8-5 weekdays central standard time. I'd probably try a call to them to find out if the bushings are serviced separately, sometimes they'll offer to send you small parts at no charge for a goodwill gesture. If not they can give you a part number to order from a dealer, or their online store. The bushings that come with the part may be of a different durometer specification. Using a bushing more compliant may defeat the operation of the aftermarket part. They designed the bars, so they should be the one to recommend a replacement bushing. That would be my first call to try to solve the problem............ |

Thanks a lot.
I contacted QA1 and they told me, what bushings they use. https://www.energysuspensionparts.co...BmfPCWcxv52dsU You can't find this information on the website and I just need to replace the bushings. The bars I have are some years old and the bushings are not good any more. |
