I'd say yes.

Seems that on some BHC's (like yours) they put the engine code with the partial eun.
Probably could only type so many letters/digits in that space, so the last 2 digits were dropped (truncated).

They put the engine code on numbers 75/76 so not sure why they put the code with the eun.

Normally they put the full 6 digit number in the EUN box.
Not the alpha block code at all.

But it's a Fremont car so it could be different protocol.
All the BHC's i have for 67 GTO's are PMD and Baltimore plants.
Would need to compare other Fremont examples.

But i doubt it's forged , or they would have squeezed it all in the box.

Most 67 examples i have also have TUN box filled out as well.

Thanks, BVZ, looked at my 1967 Fremont bhc's and they were all engine code plus 4 digits of eun.

Also, 1968 had the eun like that but they changed the form to where the engine code was not in boxes 75/76. They moved the engine designation to box 34 using a number.

1966 had no printing for eun (or tranny #) but there was blank areas where it would be for 1967.

Thanks to all for the info. I was considering the car for purchase, but based on some feedback in another thread, I’ve decided to keep looking.
