Jerry, I have told that story to a bunch of people over the years. I recall the many amazing low mile, one owner cars you have owned, so it’s pretty clear you didn’t get “beat to the punch” many times! I’ll never forget that black on black ‘63 Grand Prix 4 speed.

I went digging deeper just to satisfy my lack of memory.
The Only manufacturer I could locate that used/had a front adjuster hole or at the least a knock out for it.
Raybestos is the one. So mine are clearly not from United as I thought.
I do know that mine were already knocked out and I just plugged them just like the backing plates.
I guess if I had gone with the Red Plugs you may have never noticed
