Default Interior color

Hello all, I'm almost to the point of painting the interior of my 67 GTO. It has trim code 220, as far as what gets painted, dash top and front and top of doors and package tray. My question is do the metal seat backs and sides get painted the same low gloss ?

Thanks

I don't have my book in front of me, so I don't know what code 220 is. The top of the dash is a 0 gloss, suede finish. The lower dash and tops of the doors are a 60% gloss. The seat backs get painted a semi gloss to match the color of the upholstery. Nothing gets painted the same color as the exterior of the car.

My wife tells me I am color blind so I offer no expertise, but the Ultimate GTO site and my Paul Zazarine Restoration Guide both say Trim Tag 220 is Turquoise (whatever that is).

220 1966 &/or 1967 It's a love-hate color. I love IT!

Maybe I got the dark aqua from the interior paint? What is the big auto paint supplier in California?

Default No hate here.

Who doesn’t like this “Turquoise” interior. It’s beautiful.

Frankly I tire of Black and Parchment interiors on the Tempest Series.

I love the other 4 colors (Turquoise, Blue, Bronze and Red).

They all have that “metallic” glow from the 60’s.

Chris.

I love my turquoise interior also. I went to the body shop I use, they can't seem to be able to mix the paint for the interior. I gave him the old RM #. Does anyone know who still sells it?
