Default 1975 Formula 400 questions

Hoping some of the 74-76 Guru's of this forum can help with some questions on 1975 Formula 400 specifics....

What 4 speed came in 75 with 400?
What gear ratio came standard with 400 / 4 speed / no AC?
Was standard rim size 14" on Formula's in 75 or had 15" become norm?

Is a no AC Formula 400 with 4 speed fairly uncommon in 75? Somewhat desirable I would think...

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I junked a 75 Formula 400 4-spd no a/c car in the mid-80s. It had a ST-10 Borg Warner trans and the rear end was a 3.23 limited slip. It was an unmolested car that a tree fell across the roof, totalling the car. I believe an open rear end was standard, so it may have been an optional gear.

The car also had 15" Rally IIs on it, but again that may have been an option.

I don't know how many were made, but I don't think they were exactly common. I've seen a few over the years.

Mine was Admirality Blue. I was moving some stuff from my mom's a few weeks ago and still have one of the fenders off of the car.

I also junked a 75 Formula with a Borg Warner and 15" Honeycombs. I do not recall the rear ratio. It was an a/c car though.

Here is a local car to me (Kalispell Montana)

http://kalispell.craigslist.org/cto/4580085182.html

It is still for sale he came down a little on $. I was considering, but elected to get another car. I have seen in passing at car show here but did not really examine. Looked clean. I never contacted owner so this is all I know. FWIW. I could inspect if anyone is hot on it.

Cars came with 3.08 gears. 3.23's only in the 455 TA HO

The bigget gear you could get in 75 was 3:42 but not in an auto 455 , only in the 4 spd. The 75 455 ho was just a passenger car 455 with the better 6X heads. Most of the T/A's & formulas came with the 3:08 rear gear as that was the most common rear gear. Most A/C cars came with either 2:87 or even as low as the 2 :56 rear gear for mileage.
