Default 67' GP Barn Find!

Thanks to a PY member I was able to locate this 67' GP Barn find
71,000 mile survivor and been in storage over 20 years
Being from a Pontiac family I haven't touched one of these cars in 44 years as my parents had a convert
So besides the color it brought back some memories!
I'm bringing this lady home tomorrow and cleaning it up and see if I can get it running.

Thanks John!
Your ride looks killer!
I have some shinny Torque thrust 17's wheels to put on it to gain inspiration as soon as I get it off trailer.

Very nice car! Looks like it wouldn't take too much to get it roadworthy again!

Someone may have reconditioned the aircleaner

How did you find that??

Agree on the decal. It is basically a Buick decal made into a Pontiac decal. Pontiac only used a decal on a 455 HO.

Yes, you must remove the AC sticker. Pontiacs will not run if the sticker is not removed!

I found it with the help of this nice guy Steve P on the forum...you know him?...haha!

He drives this Cream puff!

And yes I know about the Buick thing as I did a 2-jet to Modified 75' custom Qjet upgrade and a alum intake from TA Performance for Buick 350's

Also a few other Buick trinkets to yet another cream puff.

A one family 69' Buick Skylark Custom convert

Yes I added the Buick stickers to a Factory GS aircleaner and added the same to valve covers after this pic.

Steve,
I went into each cylinder and it's looks good inside.
I'm going to let some oil soak in there a few days then try to turn it by hand.

Car has a complete new factory style bent Stainless steel line brake system.

The system is dry as they were put in place and never got to the fluid step.

Factory AFB Carb is a mess so off it comes for a rebuild and dist is moving freely and has new points.

I'm pretty certain it will run & drive!

Save those woven hose covers, you might be able to sell them here, in the performance section...

Seriously, what a find!!!

Yes that's how I dated when the last time it got attention....

Must have been 80's-90's

Last inspection sticker is NH 1986

No I believe the 400's came AFB & 428 Qjets.

Intake has correct 67 date code.

Put some Mystery oil down in the holes & benched the carb...all shafts were frozen....good old PB Blaster..she is free now.

I see last owner may have tried to paint motor...I'm thinking wrong color...should be my favorite Pontiac Metallic blue.
