Default 1970 Trans Am project car

Selling my 1970 Lucrene blue Trans Am. Rebuilt RA III NOM, but correct WS code. Original M-21 tranny that needs rebuild. Original 12 bolt 3:55 posi rear end. Car has engine and tranny out and interior out as I was getting it ready to go in for paint but things have changed. Car originally bought in Los Angeles area and has no rust. All original sheet metal on the car. Has complete new interior with recovered seats and new dash pad, door panels, carpet, headliner. 5 KR rally II wheels. The car is complete but needs body and paint and the tranny and rear end rebuilt. Includes a bunch of parts including NOS grills still in the box, an extra hood and air scoop assembly. Car is located in the Reno, Nevada area. Price is $22,000 firm. Can e-mail pics on request.

Sounds like a great project!
Just a note on the original trans and rear... if the original trans is an M-21, the rear would have to have been a 3.73, not a 3.55 (unless it was simply mis-built).
3.73 was the only ratio available with the M-21.

Sorry guys. I sent pics to Ram4king, Wernac55, wick and r 70 Judge all at the same time with the info provided in the post. Not sure why some got them and others didn't but I use charter E-mail which seems to have a mind of it's own at times.

It was a very solid looking car. Probably one of the driest/rust free cars I’ve run across. It still had the factory sound deadening inside. Congrats to the new owner. Blue on blue 4 speed car... can’t go wrong with that

Did Oakland Speed Shop get it? Or Weranc ? Good buy. Excellent starting point.

I can see how an army of people who know these cars well jumping immediately at your ad might make a person reconsider their plan
Sounds like a great car to restore!

Unfortunately I didn’t get it! Glad to hear it ended up in the right place though.
