Default Tribal Tubes

Guys, does anyone know the guys at Tribal Tubes? I placed an order with them, its past the expected time frame but now I cant get them to respond. I have sent a couple messages on their FB account as well as left voice messages on their phone.

This will get locked.

Ordered a set in 2005.
Another individual intervened in 2012 and and I received the bare headers w/o the coating that was paid for and, after I paid for the shipping costs a second time.
Was told I would be refunded funds that were overpaid when he was caught up...crickets since.

Good luck.

I got mine a couple years ago with no problems. Best fitting header I’ve ever had except for my custom set.

Yea my 2" were supposed to be done about 4-5 years ago! I felt I would be OK since I had gotten 3 sets from him.

Same story, over and over, the product is great, there is a good sized demand for it, but the guy that owns the business is inconsistent at best. It's a shame that he doesn't sell off the business to someone who would run it correctly.

I believe that C Cass said he tried at one time to buy the business, but couldn't come to terms with the owner. The demand for the product is not going to increase as there are more cars, and owners that pass every year. There will be a time when there is almost no demand for the product.

The model T and A cars have little following any longer, just a matter of time before mid 60s to early 70s muscle cars have little, to no following either.

I ordered a set last February, just before the China Virus shut down. I know where he is it is still crazy and shut down. It took a while, several weeks longer than originally stated to complete them. I was not in a rush to get them as I am not ready to run the engine yet. It sometimes took him a while to respond but he did. I also know the history of Tribal Tubes and was a little cautious but the headers are great. He seemed genuine and I know with all that is going on it can be a challenge. I can't wait to get them installed on my Firebird.

For the longest time he was very active on FB. He posted when he was shipping etc. Then shipments were delayed. Any delays in shipments weren't his fault.

I have not seen a post from him in ages.

Hew was going to do SS and supposedly had the bends already done but said the welding took too long so went back to just steel. Would not even ship completed bends .

Ken C,
I bought a few sets of Tri-ys from you back in the 1990s. One set was round port and they are still in use to this day on my 72 455HO GTO. Hundreds of thousands of miles of use with this great product and more miles today. Best fitting and nicest street headers I have ever had!! Great product. Not sure if his are similar but, am sure there is demand.

Thanks Steve. Our headers were were professionally mfg by "Valley Tube", a "job shop" that specialized in making headers for other mfg. Our D ports were designed to our requirements by Stan of "Stans Headers" . Our Round ports were designed, to our specs by Jerry Jardine . Valley Tube was later bought out by Edelbrock. We bought headers in lots of 25, which we could ship immediately.. TT is a one man shop making one set at a time. I agree with Sirrotica that the market is dwindling

"Our Round ports were designed, to our specs by Jerry Jardine."

The 2" Tri Ys for my 409 project are Jardine. They moved to Montana or Wyoming and mine were one of the last sets they made, probably 10 years ago now.

Only if he were using a TIG for the SS and MIG for the carbon. But you can MIG SS also. So...???

I think he's just an excuse machine.
