Default 1968 GTO rear tires /offset

Guys I want to run 275 x50x15 drag radials on my car . They have a larger footprint than street tires so I think / know rubbing will be a issue .
Is anyone running 15 x8 rim with drag or larger street tires on a 68? Whats your offset and whats your clearance between edge of tire and rear fender lip .
I was thinking about 15x8 snowflakes or going with another set of Cragars SS

I have 275/60R15 MT drag radials mounted on 15X8 with a 4 1/2" backspace wheels on my 68 GTO. Fit great, plenty of clearance at the lip.

Running 15X9 Centerline Auto Drags with a 28" tire along with Hotchkis lowering springs on my '68, and while the fit is VERY tight, I have not had any issues with rubbing, but I am using about every last centimeter of clearance. I have had 4 people in the car also and so far, so good.
