Question Muncie identification help

Hi yall i got this at a swap meet today for a 100 bucks. I had planned on going and buying one from a local here in town but locked out and found this...
Everything im reading say 66-67 m22 but the guy with the other trans swears its junk and an m20 and i got ripped off(of course) but i dont know. This is my first muncie and i dont care what shape its in im thrilled to have it and tinker on it (hoping to learn to rebuild) i previously had a sagnaw 2 grove 4 spd so anything is better than that...aside from automatic (but maybe not)

The p code is p01013 nothing after the 3
the case is 3885010
the cover where the shifter goes is 3831707
The input shaft has no groves

Can't help with telling you with what you actually bought. But for only $100 you got something to play around with.

I know I'm surprised the first person to see it didn't snatch it up. Here is what I'm reading that make me think 66-67

Its a 2 grove wide ratio. 1966-67 m20. I have a m22 input shaft out in the garage what all would it require to make it an m22 other than that?

All the M22 gears are cut at a different angle.

And provide different gear ratios. Aren't all M22s close ratio?

the M22 is essentially an M21 with a different angle on the gears.
