Based on that standard I would say the most impressive run on the list is Marty Palbykin's 6.95 @ 2950# 23 years ago. PMD block and heads. :

Your list is fine.......I never said it wasn’t.
I know a lot of Pontiac history also know a lot of Ford drag racing history.

Take his nitro away with adding almost 700 lbs and drop down to 12 lbs of boost that 70 GTO wouldn’t fall out of a tree! LOL!

No e-heads and tigers are tied for quickest door car in 1/8 (both 3.99)

Have the Warp heads proven to make more power than E heads, Tigers ? NA, Tiger has made over 1200+ HP in Langers car.
NA, what is the highest HP Warp car ?
NA is the truth.
If the power difference is close to the same I would rather deal with changing head gaskets than bolting up a Chevy/Ford head to my Pontiac.

If Tommy's car made 3300+ at the wheel, i'd say thats more than an E-head

While that may well be true the problem is at this time the vehicle based on et and mph don't even show that HP at the flywheel.

Not to state the obvious but this is his first year on car and engine also he is running a some no prep and his car is on small tires so pulling power out is probably mandatory.

Ok after being down at KRE shop this morning. I found out the weight of Marks GXP Its 2130# and had a best mph of 199 using Wallace's 1/4 calculator it show's 1293.41 hp to the wheels Also believe it or not Jeff's dragster is heavier than the GXP I saw this myself on the scales at Norwalk; I have fun on this board stirring up the KRE haters. Its a lot like President Trump tweeting and watching the results. Whether they are or not they act like democrats.

I don't care what John's site says. That should be flywheel HP. Now lets look at a real world example. A 400 ci Australian Pro Stocker will run 6.8x and over 200 MPH @ 2250# and has dynoed at just about 1200 HP.

Stan

PS - So Ken you / they never dynoed that engine?

When was the last time they have dynoed an Australian Pro Stock engine engine........I was seeing almost 1,200 HP 6 years ago? The ET's i saw was one 6.87 but thats hardly Apple to Apples (of course that was a quick search) . The best way is "same day, same track" when comparing two cars because weather conditions will affect ET's BIG time (my gosh I varied almost .10 from one day to the next in Kentucky with NO changes)! It was an interesting search!

How about this. If you have 1293.41 HP @ the rear wheel. If you have 86.2% drive train efficiency for the vehicle. That is 1500.48 Flywheel HP.
