Yes or LESS..

If you don't register it and don't have proof of purchase date they go buy the day your bought it.

IDK if it was on old Sniper, but on Sniper 2 every unit is Sterilized and marke with the date of manufacture too.

Apparently the original "Sniper 1" tune settings don't work with the new Sniper 2 ??? ... but I have not worked on the Sniper 1's myself.

That I haven't heard and am not aware of, but if you open a Sniper '1' config file on a PC with the latest version compatible for Sniper 2s, if would probably ask to 'import' or 'convert' if it were different. Or at least when you go to save it.

I bet the readme file for the latest Sniper software would probably have notes on it, or at least the version that there was a change-over. I think all Holley readme files contain version history, so you could scroll down and see revisions to all.
