BTW a friend bought an Iris Mist 65 GTO convertible (white top) at one of the GTOAA Nationals many many years ago. Some guy drove it in and put a for sale sign on it. The car was puking antifreeze but wore a set of original Hurst wheels and had a tripower set up on it. My friend bought it on the spot and still has it in unrestored condition. I don't know the "numbers" for Iris Mist GTO's but I have not seen many originals in 30 years of this hobby.
