'67 bonneville engine/trans options
Was the 400 standard and the 428 optional in the bonneville in 1967. Was the th-400 the only automatic trans offered in the bonneville?
there's a guy telling me he's got a 2 speed in his '67 bonneville. I can't find this info anywhere. |

All Full Sized Pontics from 65-76 came with Turbo 400's.

I always thought all Bonnevilles came standard with the 428 in '67, and the Cats and execs getting a standard 400 2bbl. The only auto trans in the big cars was the turbo 400, but in the small pontiacs a Powerglide was available.

I believe the 428 was standard in the 2+2 only in 1967, and optional in other big cars. The two speed transmission in the intermediate cars and Firebirds was the ST300, not the Powerglide.
