Default 68 GTO Q-jet 7028268

1968 GTO Rochester Quadrajet carburetor #7028268 WF 2377 date (late Aug 67) for auto (can be used for manual trans), previously rebuilt by s Ebay rebuilder and has a front intlet repair (see Photos), I installed a new float valve, ethanol resistant accelerator pump and pressure checked (no leaks0, nice clean unit functions properly $250 plus $25 USPS shipping

Where did you find the date code stamped?

For 68 carbs its on the baseplate, drivers side, near the rear mounting bolt.
Photo shows 100th day of 1968

This carb is SOLD!

The date code on most 1968 Quadrajets is stamped on the throttle plate.as shown on the example in the previous post. This carb is stamped 2377 (237th day of 1967) on the throttle plate like the example shown.
Some early 68's (Rochester and Carter) have a round tag with the part number and date code on the left side of the carb body and are not stamped on the throttle plate.
