Newer roof on an older car
Would it be possible to weld on a 1978 T-Top top onto a 1970 Firebird? If so what would I have to watch out for?
I, currently, have a vinyl top and I can see bubbling underneath. Work is going to be required. I found a roof in really good shape and would love to have the T-Tops but if I can't, I'll repair and re-vinyl top it. Any advice? |

Yeah. I've seen it done more than once. I know the guy that owns this one and I think he did it himself.

To be honest....I can't remember now if he told me he grafted a roof or cut the original top to fit the hatches...It can be done either way though.
