Default 80 Turbo TA

I might go look at a 80 Turbo TA, The seller said the turbo has been bypassed or disconnected, he wasn't sure, and I don't know a thing about turbos. Is this even possible? How do you know if the turbo is bad or not? Thanks

You might want to go to the 301 garage website.......lots of turbo nuts there...

I don't believe you can bypass it.......likely been replaced with a non-turbo intake & carb set-up.....

FYI...there are probably more BAD turbo's out there than GOOD ones......any major problems and they usually get pulled in favor of a 400 or 455.
