all of the quad 4's had head gasket problems. within the first 2 1/2 yrs of production the dealer i worked at recieved 14 updates on the gasket set.
from what we saw there's a high pressure oil galley ,a coolant passage , and a head bolt postioned too close together. all of the gaskets we saw blown were in one of two places, and all around the location described above. mike
