Don't mean to jump on your thread, but when I saw Bob Vidan's post, I had to ask, I'm looking for a Dash Pad for a 65 Catalina Convertible with A/C. Do you have one available?

You might check out some of the upholstery shops in your area. I had the same problem with the dash pad on my '64 GP. I sanded the dash pad so that all of the cracks were flattened out and then filled the cracks with body filler. Then I covered the entire dash pad with a layer of fiberglass cloth and resin. I then took the dash pad to a local uphostery shop and they were able to cover it with a thin pad and then vinyl. The '64 dash pad is fairly straight and doesn't have any severe compound curves so they were able to use a single piece of vinyl to cover it with. This eliminated any seams and the vinyl strectched and conformed to all of the curved areas. It turned out really good and no one would know that it isn't the original. It cost me about $100 compared to $600 at Just Dashes. It seems to be holding up well too. Just a suggestion if you can't find a decent one to buy.

Just to add to the picture, I got my dash back from Just Dashes yesterday...eight weeks later. It cost me $560 but they did a absolutely fantastic job with a real rough dash.
