Default 67 Hurst Convert needs help !! Linda Vaughn Contact at Last.

Nothing serious guys.

Got the door hinge changed as the 6,000 mile trip to WV and back shook loose the old plastic liner around the upper pin, poped the hinge loose and had cracked the paint at the lower drivers door when I hit WV. All fixed now. Txs to those who contributed. (Bill Miksich)

Got most of my lighting problems fixed now concentrating on the horn.

Any horney experts out there?

Also need (pictures attached) the stop light switch that has the cruise disconnect two prongs that take the brown leads. Have posted on parts wanted.

Bigger news, was able to hook up with (more like got a return call from) Linda Vaughn with the phone numbers provided by Hurst Performance Vehicles. Was able to participate with them at their booth at Hot August Nights in Reno in mid August.

Letters I had from Rosalie Breiwstien (Geo Hurst Sec) forgot to tell me, that according to Linda the car we have all be following was actually HER car. Will be catching up with her personally at the Las Vegas SEMA show where Hurst Performance Vehicles has invited me into one of their outside parking spots. Kinda Kuhl eh? Will get her to document the car in writing at that point.

Thanks again

Default cruise control brake switch

MIke,

I think that cruise brake light disconnect is available from AMES. I was looking thru the Big car parts manual recently and saw it. I am in the process of trying to add cruise control to my car.

I looked in Ames catalogue, shows one there 67-77. Walked into Napa to see and will have one tomorrow $14.00 no shipping. Not the same aux/cruise connections but have enough extra on the cruise leads to make it work. I am sure it's the same one that Ames wda had as I am sure their price of $14.00 wda not been NOS.

Thanks for the lead to Ames.

Need any pics on the cruise set up let me know, (elect or vac)

Mark,

Txs again,

Have not forgotten your free stuff yet. Seems like I have the gremlins right now. Nothing serious but weeding through my "maybe" stuff. Will get to you soon.

That's what she sez.

George Hurst is not around anymore and if anyone should know it should be her.

No one else has volunteered any information to the contrary to date so I guess I will go with Lindas version. Suits me just fine. Will get her to document her conversation with me when I see her.

Mike, make sure you get her on video too.

Now if it was my car..... I'd have her on my lap makin out with her..... aka the good 'ol days. Even just a little smooch would be good. I'm sure da wife would understand after finding out the history of the car. LOL

Default Will try not to miss much

My wife would understand but Linda may not.

Not going to let anything slip by if I can help it.

She sounds like a real down to earth Woman and I am sure she has had her share of "passes" in her career.

She makes a pass, I may try to catch it.

Pictures and video for sure.

Even if Linda isn't like that, she may do it just for the the photo op.

And if she does, find a way that she can send me a personal smooch too.... with an autograph please. I'm serious. I'd be the envy of Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and ect ect ect. LOL

If she'll leave a kiss imprint on it, just my first name. Tell her this 60 year old Goat driver is giving her a kiss back in my mind. I always thought Linda was one classy lady and would have loved meeting her just once to get a real life photo.
