Default Bonneville floor shifter

G'Day Men

I am looking at an engine up grade in the future and will want to run some headers, with the good information I receive from this site and reading the header manufactures sites I must have a floor shifter..To get past the linkages ie delete them..

I have been looking at Hurst and B & M .and I am leaning towards the B & M..

My question is the Bonneville has a split bench seat, do I have to have bucket seats???
Has anybody fitted these shifters and what do you guys recommend ?.

Regards John

You could always install a pair of the "long branch" factory manifolds if this is for a '67 Bonnie. The aftermarket shifters are cable operated , there shouldn't be much of an issue with the shifter assembly and the bench seat. Buckets would give you more room for placement though.
