Nice car. So (my bolding & 'w 5.0' added above) if your car is totally complete original including exhaust, it appears to be true as written Chevy motor T/As did NOT receive tailpipe splitters. Even in Canada, ehh?!!!

Yup, IIRC, one of my copies of FIREBIRD Illustrated Buyers Guide states (paraphrasing):

"All 305 Chevy engine TAs came equipped with tailpipes and resonators"..."all other TAs were Splitter Exhaust equipped..."

This car worth the $52,500 asking price??? or maybe $50K or $40K???
How much will be Survivor Low Millage 1981 T/A Y84 WITH SHAKER HOOD LIKE MINE???????
and where really the market go to the really desirable SURVIVOR T/A like 1977-78 T/A SE 4-Speed or in general any 4-SPEED with 400 Pontiac engine?????? or Special Edition T/A with "X" ON VIN NUMBER????? or the original car of this discussion its over price??????
It doesn't really matter what anyone THINKS their car is worth....you will never REALLY know until you advertise it & sell it......

What somebody is prepared to pay you is the real value...

Ah-ha! The old "asking price vs. actual offered & sold for price received" conundrum.

Note: Advertised auction "sold for $$$" = "Your Results May Vary" greatly.
