Default Found a '69 Catalina wagon today...

in a local junkyard. Thing about this wagon that caught my eye was the options on it. Looking inside I could see it has p.windows,p.door locks,p.seat and tilt column. Then I noticed the flip dial Delco am-fm radio- not a stereo. Then I see a couple of switches on the cluster. I figure one is for the rear gate window. The second switch is for a p.antenna. It gets better. The cluster also sports a rally gage setup. At this point I'm thinking some one special ordered this car. Weeds are grown around it and I try to get a look at the differential to see if it has a Limited Slip tag , but too overgrown and almost on the ground. Probably does, though. Then I think, ....could it be? Push away the weeds around the lower front fenders and "428" staring at me. Unfortunately, the engine and trans are long gone, but otherwise, the body is good. Front bumper and hood are junk, but the rubber Endura nose is in great shape! Which is very rare for Florida. I'm seriously thinking of draggin that wagon back home. I've got a '69 Bonneville 428 engine and trans laying around, might as well put them to good use. Figured this would be a good change from the so called "conspiracy crap".

It's pretty rare to see a Cat loaded like a Bonneville. No wood on this one and it's a gold color with antique gold inside. There are remnants of an antiquated trailer brake controller. This is probably a tow package car. I could source the parts it would need for low money. I'm thinking copper bronze with some 15X7 Rally II's. Yeah baby!

Is the bolt pattern 5 on 5??

Gold is a neat color, especially when faded.

Yeah, it's the big bolt pattern 4 3/4" . I have a set of 15X6" and a set of 15X7' R II's. That's about the gold color it is.

I called the guy today and told him I wanted the wagon. He gave me a very good price that I can't pass up. Where's the location of the hoods and bumpers?

Default 69 Cat wagon

Collector man,

did you ever get the car?

The hoods and bumbers are in central virginia. There is a '70 Executive wagon in a local junk yard here if you need to look for some interior pieces.
