everything i pick up is too far gone for restorations, that's why i buy them, to make money and save the good parts for better cars. i don't get attached anymore. i try to stay away from savable cars.....but if it's the right price w/good parts to sell then i am parting it. any part on the car that is good is pulled and given a chance to sell. sometimes parts don't sell and they end up in the scrap pile also. i can't save everything and when scrap goes up things get pitched. i have been laid off for a year and this helps offset the unemployment and pay bills. i did save a 59 biscayne and that 59 bonneville (going to sweden) and made money on both...so i do still have a heart Paul, lol!

I do the same thing...same way etc...i love doin it too...cutting a car up, i just forget time and the world...the only thing i really do different is cut the roof off the car..i can almost get 2 cars inside a full sized car if i cut the hoods in half, if i keep the doors i use the hoods to fill the gaps..and flip one upside down....i bought a 500 dollar forklift off craigslist and made the whole car dismanteling so much easier.......its a 1956 toyota 4 cyl gas powered..nearly the best tool ive ever used for cutting up cars..its a cherry picker...a floor jack that can go 8 feet high...and a real back saver..i use the fork lift more than my 2 post lift.....

can i post a few pics of the cars ive done? i dont want to be rude and just do it...lol

GO AHEAD, LIKE TO SEE SOME PICS.

FOR ME I LIVE IN A SUBDIVISION AND REALLY HAVE NO WHERE TO PARK A FORK LIFT. I PILE UP THE SCRAP AND MY SCRAPPER FRIEND TAKES IT IN FOR ME, USUALLY THE FOLLOWING DAY OF ME CALLING HIM. WE SPILT THE MONEY. I HAVE A LINE ON A 69 GMC PICKUP LOCALLY AND MAY BE TAKING THE STUFF IN MYSELF. ERIC
