Homeowners insurance question
During one of the windstorms, a branch fell and ripped my pool liner. It is covered under my homeowners insurance. However, I have never filed an insurance claim, thus far, in my life. I assume my premium will go up or something will be tacked on for 5 years... Just weighing what would be the most beneficial- paying for the new liner/ repairs myself or through the insurance.
First hand experiences I would greatly appreciate!
