No yet. Hoping to see it this coming week. Googled the car wasn't able to find another '67 Bonn. Brougham model. Want some interior pictures. Hope someone can post some pictures of one. Scott

Broughams were rare. Maybe even more so than convertibles. The differences in '69 (my year) was that the Brougham has a different seat material stitching pattern, there were Brougham badges in a couple of places, and the Brougham came with several power features as std equipment such as power seat, power windows, plush pile carpet v. loop pile, disc brakes?, different door panel inserts, and cornering lamps IIRC. The sales literature of the era doesn't help a lot because they used drawings rather than pictures.

I was also surprised to not find much on the interweb.
But did find a similar combo to give a little tease showing just how plush and comfortable this car could be Looking forward to her return!

Great pictures of "what is to be" Nice to see the SafeGuard speedo unit in the one picture. Great looking interior and engine shot as well complete with cruise control vacuum bracket. A sports (wood grain) steering wheel might be a nice touch to compliment the dual exhaust and 8 lugs. Not a muscle car but just dash of panache.

Wonder why the different types of air cleaner housings used? Was it for different types of carbs? Motor? I've seen both types used in others cars.

that air cleaner is from an earlier 60's model. It is not correct for a '67. The one in the restored picture is the correct style for a non HO or high performance motor. The base 40 cid in this car still had some 325+ HP so there is plenty there. There is no need to chase HP with this car IMO. This is luxury sport, not muscle.

The one in the '67 on the trailer in question IS correct for a 1967 A.I.R. model car, which this car is.

I learned something new. I have only seen '67's with the round narrow snorkel or the louvered pan type for the HO's.
What does A.I.R. stand for?

A.I.R. = air injector reactor, it was an early emissions control system.

awesome. Hopefully time and distance well spent. Looks like a special car to bring back and join the "darkside" in all her original glory!! Anyone can modify a car. Only special people can bring them back to original condition!! JMO

Yes and no. Worked him down to 1k. We might also buy the trailer the car is on. My friend out there is going to look into tires for the trailer, if needed. Also ready for the trip back to So. Cal. That's another story on the trailer. Need to put some rollers on the front of the car. The good news very light surface rust on the car. No rust on the quarter panels. No filler on the rear wheel wells. The trunk pan almost looks new. Doesn't look like the motor has ever been out of the car. Still has its 143 heads.The interior is shot. The car runs for a minute. A complete car, with all of its options intact. Hope to have it here in a few weeks. Now I'm in search for interior parts. In need of a dash is the first thing. Scott

Wow, $1K is a GREAT deal for that car IMO. As far as the trailer goes I assume that is something that you want. Tries and wheels can get a little pricey though. A U-Haul or Peneske rental might be a better option for a one time use.
It might take a little while to find a dash but I am sure someone will be able to help you find one. Awesome that the car actually runs. Flush the oil and radiator and re-fill with with fresh along with new plugs and distirbutor cap and points and you'll be in business. IMO new brake hoses and a thorough cleaning/re-build of the master cylinder along with cleaning/replacing the brakes as necessary might be the first thing I would address. those old rubber hoses have to be in bad shape.

Update. Picking up the car and trailer. Bought the trailer and Bonneville. Basically bought the trailer and got the car on it for free. Cant wait to clean her up and get it back on the road again.

I will post some new pictures and updates on the progress. First thing I'm going to do is clean the engine compartment at a coin car wash.

Picked the Bonneville up Saturday from Needles Ca. Started cleaning it up. Car is pretty a unmolested car. Still has it's T3 headlights. Had its Gold rubber Pontiac floor mats, witch fell apart in my hands removing them.
