Another question on the vacuum gauge. If I had a vacuum gauge on the console, would there be the 421 emblem on the console also?

Could you post a picture of that? Emblem in front or above the gauge?

Update. Starting the frame on restoration. Interior has a strong mildew smell! Getting new interior and carpet. Sent the bumpers out to the chrome shop. H.L bezels, gauge pods and tail panel sent out to a shop in CA. Sent the dash pad to just dashed, hope to see it again in 3 months.

67GP428,

Not to hijack your thread, but can you please tell me the name of the companies where you sent your bumpers and pot metal out to be replated? I live in the Phoenix area and will need to find a good shop (or shops) to handle this for me this summer for my '64 GP. Thank you!

Looks great, just keep working along. As I said many posts earlier, I think you will love the car when you get it on the road. I had my 66 2+2 for 19 years and drove it everywhere. I have owned about 20 Pontiac muscle cars since the mid 1970's. My 2+2 and 70 TA were my 2 favorites. I really like the looks of the 62 Catalina I have now, but it doesn't have near the ride and handling characteristics of the 2+2. Good luck the rest of the way.

Thank you. Now that summer is coming to a end in AZ. I’ll get more progress done. Get it running and back on the road.
