Is this chrome trim factory on my 62 GP? See pic

Pretty sure that was an aftermarket accessory. Is it in fact chrome? It looks like it could be stainless steel.

My mistake for thinking it was aftermarket. I looked at my 1961 dealer album and salesman's guide, and they didn't offer it that year - it must have been added in 1962.
