Default thread locker on window lace metal trim screws?

Hi all,

I'm having a headliner professionally installed on July 13. In preparation, and based on a youtube video, I have been cleaning the excess glue from those metal trim pieces that are screwed around the edge of the cabin. The headliner is glued to these pieces and I believe the window lace also is secured to these trim pieces (after headliner installed).

The process I have been using is to unscrew the pieces, wire wheel them, and reinstall. Got to wondering however about the screws securing these pieces. If they came loose it would be somewhat of a disaster, as they are inaccessible with the headliner installed. Would likely require a new headliner install.

Thus, the question arises as to whether I should use purple thread locker on those screws, just to be sure. Then I start wondering if there's a chance of the purple threadlocker getting hot in the sun and running down to stain the headliner after install (parchment interior so headliner shows everything).

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Blue LocTite would be appropriate.
