FT LB, helpfull pics, good shot of front clip off -showing inner fenders.
Tom S, you seem to have really stirred up the Safari Gang with the pics of that nice wagon. Our son is two & a half yrs. old. He loves Safaris too! But he's asking me to spend too much $ on the car. How can I tell his mom that I used his piggy bank money to revive the old 63? We are anxious to see more too!

Correction: Per Pontiac Enthusiast magazine, the trans in Wally Abela's gorgeous wagon is a Richmond HD four speed. The rear is a 9" w/ 4.56 gears.

Cool wagon Tom.

Do any of your cars have aluminum front ends?

I was pitted next to Wally at Norwalk as I elected to run exibition with the Nostalgia SS boys ( very few this time ?). Very nice wagon. The intake is cool. Did you notice ? It's a Offie 360 the he machined the heat passages and Logos off of. Looks like it was made that way. He offered to do my Offie if I sent it to him.

TOM S. It was great meeting and talking with you. I just picked up some Goat Comp. headers to trial fit on my 60. If all goes well I'll look for some 2" primary headers, these are 1 3/4" with 3" dumps. Better than my old vintage headers.

Wow. Another nice Tempest wagon being butchered up for big tires.

Shame.

By the way: since when did Tempest wagons begin being referred to as "Safaris?" Do these wagons have some sort of "Safari" badging on them?

My '61 Pontiac dealer album calls the Tempest wagon a Safari.
