Default Union Park SD 421 Wagon up for sale

"The Randy Williams Super Duty Collection"

"*‘On the Block...’ The five Original Super Duty’s will be offered as one entity. The family’s foremost wish is to see the collection remain together. If the high bid on the 5 cars is not accepted the cars will be offered immediately on a individual basis."

"This particular car was the famed Union Park Wagon, raced out of Maryland. It features all of the correct and impossibly rare factory race equipment, including the dual-quad 421 SD and Powershift transaxle. Its impeccably-executed restoration was expertly handled by Scott Tiemann of Supercar Specialties after nearly twenty years of parts-locating and research by Randy Williams. This was one of the most ambitious restoration projects of the last decade and was covered in-depth by Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine."

Cool The Crown Jewels...

of Pontiac's racing heritage. I may go just to see these cars. Hopefully, they won't end up stuffed away in storage somewhere. Ron

Thats funny
In the early 70s I had(have) a 68 Firebird I drag raced.
My girlfriend had a 63 Tempest 195 auto that I used as a tow car.
I broke the Bird one night before timetrials even started was bored
so I took the 63 out for a few passes.
A friend had a souped up VW and he beat me.
His time was in the 19 sec range, mine was 20 something range at about 65MPH.After a couple of embarrassing runs I quit so we would have something to get home in.

Talking Seriously..

you have more guts than I. Although, in bracket racing...it may be a killer car! Imagine the angst of the other driver watching my taillights dissapear as he burns down at the tree! Can't be easy...just sitting there. Maybe I will..just for grins...make a few passes at our next outing. Anyway...getting excited about this 421 thing. Gotta be a blast! Thanx again to all you "pioneers" for helping lay the groundwork on this project. Anything that makes my life easier is looked upon favorably from my standpoint. Also, curious to see what these cars bring. Love to see them go to a traveling museum type deal, as it would afford many an opportunity to see them at major events, where the cars themselves would most certainly feel at home. Ron

Union Park Pontiac is not Maryland. It is in Wilmington Delaware, owned by the Ursomorso family.
