Smile "Barn Judge" is on the road again...

...after 35 years, it is a fully functional Muscle Car survivor...still wearing it's original paint and interior....all mechanical components are still the ones it left the factory with and it runs like new...

...a big thanx to Doug and Brad Dorn of Dorns AutoCraft in New Castle Indiana for bringing the long dormant Judge back to life in such a short period of time

...it still needs a new set of tires and a couple of very minor things, but it is 99.9% of the way home

...and yes, it will remain a "survivor" as long as it resides in my family

That's a sharp ride. Now I know I'll need to see it in person.

Awesome find. I saw your original post on this car & was waiting for an update.

Great collection of cars, too.

If you bring this car to Dayton, I will be sure to check it out.

...I would really like to go to Dayton....I had already committed to Chryslers at Carlisle before I knew about the Dayton event, but I'm not 100% sure which way to go now

...I have been very lucky thru the years in finding and obtaining various rare finds, and this one ranks among the top few

...first of all, I only saw the car one time, 40 years ago

...it was just a few blocks from my house for 35 years (I would have driven across the nation for this one)

...it took so little to get it running after 35 years, and running great

...I am so pleased with the results, it will never be restored under my watch, and I doubt it will ever be for sale....though not the prettiest Judge out there, it's a keeper

Awesome. I'm jealous. That's my dream car right there! Gotta love those local legends that get stuffed away for years. I just missed the chance at one in my hometown by a few weeks. I found out from a very good source where it was but someone got to it before I did. It was a Carousel Red RA3 4 spd as well. Enjoy it!

Notice a couple of things, one being the color of the breather tube from the pass valve cover to the air cleaner. Black phosphate, NOT silver!!!

...no real explanation why they kept it parked all those years, no plans to restore it either, it just sat there unused for 37 years...the lady I purchased the Judge from stopped by my garage last week and I showed her how well the car cleaned up, she was impressed and told me how happy she was I purchased the car
