I think that's about the highest priced set I've seen. I think they've been selling for around $500 - 600 per wheel lately, but $2500 apiece is pretty much the extreme.

He's probably looking to sell after the auction ends and avoid Ebay and Paypal fees. I thought about selling some of my stuff on Ebay, but the fees are just excessive.

If it doesn't sell, he will pay a listing and final value fee ( different than actual, but still)

In the past week same seller sold 2 plain steel chevy wheels for
$2500 (pair)
XT code - correct for 69 COPO Camaro - and probably any base Camaro too.

Some vacuum tripower linkage pieces for around 1,000

some folks maybe just like paying his prices . idunno
wacky

There was a coincidental thread about the same seller in The Lobby
- he sold $6800.00 in parts in 3 days
most all of it was astounding in pricing .

Credit where due - he's rolling and reeling it in.
Check his "sold" listings history .

If you dont relist, Ebay assumes you used them for advertising and sold it Off the site, you do get a charge. Ebay constantly reminds sellers how to market, price, and stuff .

If he doesn't sell he usually relists at the same price for months - years.
