Default 35 Years with Ames

I'm feeling old when I think that I've had my 66 GTO for 35 years, but I can't deny the truth.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents worth in here about Steve Ames and all the guys and girls there. Never an issue with quality, service, or anything else when dealing with them. Started dealing with them when I bought the car in 1981. Now that it needs re restoring, I've bought a bunch of stuff, and will definitely be buying more.

And a special thanks to them for supporting the rope shaft Tempests. We appreciate it.

Graham, you have always been a pleasure to work with. You help us out, give us leads on parts and cars that we may be interested in and your enthusiasm for the hobby is truly an inspiration. Thanks for the kind words and your loyalty to Ames Performance for so many years. Without friends like you, we would not be who we are today.

I remember Steve Ames when he first started out in the late 70's I believe. I watched him get bigger and bigger every year at Carlisle. I was dealing with him when Dennis Kirban was into GTO's way back. Wayyy back :)

Steve took detailed pics of a car in the big "barns" for me while I watched, for help with one I was working on, then helped load my truck right at the dock in Marlborough..( like 25 years ago) I have always supported Ames and PY, but I love popping over to pick up my stuff in person. The Girl at the front desk is amazing, and Knows her stuff, I was shocked, and amazed... Ill be back..
