Default how to make 82-92 hook

What do you guys do to make these launch! Have the drag struts & springs up front, cut 1/2 coil out of rear springs, rear shocks are beat! Battery is going in trunk this week. Right now the combo is 383 sbc ( Pontiac motor is coming soon) t-350, 4.11's. We just took the glide out thinking the extra gear would help, but traction has become a problem. The front end was just done and not been to track since. Any other ideas!! Thanks Dave K. If this needs to be in racing move it over I won't cry!!

Thanks for the reply Bill, this is the vo-tech HS car. Has been updated to 9" w/adjustable trailing arms, w/tubular torgue tube, no sway bars, 90/10 struts in front & drag springs. Have yet to get to the track w/upgrades. Cage is going in at present. You ever come to Atco? Dave K.

You do need to either put the rear sway bar on, or install an anti-roll bar. You need something to stop the body roll. I run a stock rear sway bar with no problems, but S&W racecars makes a real nice anti roll bar that fits up is the stock floor pan. What Vo-tech do you go to, i guess Burlington Co.?..i used to live in Cherry Hill, i went to Camden co. vo tech,....and yes i do go to Atco, but not that much. I go to Cecil Co. dragway in Maryland ...i think it's a much nicer track and they keep things moving during the day, Atco seems to drag it out sometimes, Billy

Thumbs up

My buds the shop teacher (ex pontiac dealer mechanic). I tow & help out with the car. The school is in Medford. They changed name to BCIT >Burlington County Institute of Technology. Fancier than vo-tech. I will tell him about the sway bar. I think he removed the sway bar when the new rear was installed. Thanks again for your help & info Dave K.

Jegs has the rear anti roll bar kits both Competition Engineering and their own brand. By loading the right rear you help take the twist out of the car and plant the tires equally. A great addition to any coil sprung car.
