Question 1991/1992 Firehawk

Anybody have any information on these rare birds?

Know of any for sale?

Is there a registry?

Here's a pretty useful site:

http://firehawk.org/

Covers all years of the Hawks, not just the '91-'92, of which there were 25 produced.

I have seen one or two for sale since I started paying attention to thirdgens a couple years ago. I think you can get one for about $25k, if ever you do see one for sale. That price might be going up as we speak.

I'll never be able to afford the real McCoy, but my '92 Formula 350 with the Ronal R-15 Firehawk wheels works fine for me

Glad to see you have some interest in an F-body from the least appreciated generation, Boss.

Thanks Dave, the body is somewhat dated but I've got to believe they will be the COPO car of our generation.

BTW, I'll get your bird house out this week.

I liked them as well, just not the price when they were new.
Then again, I didn't like the price of my 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am new either!
Maybe someday........................................... .

If I can pick up one of the competition models for less than 30k I think it will be a screaming deal in 10 or 20 years.

You may be right!
I have thought of that myself.

Update:

I've spoken to owners of over half of the cars - and have currently been offered three - all of which are over my target number.

Still working on it.
