Va68goat said this: "We were able to move past that and the problem was addressed and fixed." Apparently not! Public threats of lawsuits now. Nice. This is the ugliest thing I've seen here...classic passive aggressive behavior throughout.

promptcritical,
I paid $12,175 for a $7,800 motor. Not to include 180 hours and two years of diagnosing the motor. I believe anyone would be upset. The problem with the motor was addressed and fixed. Did I protect myself...absolutely. There is nothing wrong with that. You're right, this got ugly. I never mentioned the failed dyno or said one negative thing until I was forced to pay $2,575 to get my motor back and it came back with the same knock as it had when it was first started.

This thread should be locked up. The engine is fixed and appears to be running good. The money part should be between the buyer and builder. That could be addressed in the business section of the forum after it is all done. Too much arguing over stupid stuff going back and forth.

x2 lock it.

The primary two parties should handle from here, w/o internet interference.

John Milner,
I agree that it's getting stupid. I'm done with the back and forth. I won't be adding anything else on this thread. I'll be trying to work something out with Paul and that shouldn't be played out here. The motor is strong and I can finally drive it. It's been a frustrating 2 years and I appreciate the guys that have helped me out. Time to enjoy this car!

I agree, it’s time to shut this one down.

Best of luck to all.
