Default Rear Tires

I got the GTO out yesterday for a brief drive. One of few I've been able to have in the last few months due to 2 right shoulder surgeries since April. As the TKO was in second gear, I mashed the gas pedal harder than I normally would and the the engine got louder and the rear end slipped sideways and SMOKE appeared out of the rear tire area.

What happened?

No, I tore a large chunk of cartilage off of the humerus bone up in my shoulder.

Sounds like an alignment problem.

Obviously your car has a severe problem. I will come pick it up and see if I can get it to repeat the undesirable symptoms and report back.

Easy solution to age old problem:

Take the wimp tires off

Put some real meats on

Repeat till smoke stops

I think if you replace your Pontiac V8 with a naturally aspirated Ford (Toyota, Honda, Mopar or even GM) 4 cylinder, the problem will go away.

I'll drive down to Alabama and get rid of the Pontiac V8 for you. No sense having that problem causing engine cluttering up your garage.
