Lots of wind and rain here. 2 pieces of tin have to repair. Lost power.
A friend has trees down in yard.

It was much worse in other places.

It got scary here for a bit last evening but it passed quickly. Lots of damage in nearby communities but we were largely spared the worst of it.

I'm glad it finally stopped raining. This is the second weekend in a row where my feet haven't been dry.

Been quite a few years since we've received a decent snow in the Southern Plains. 5" @ our place, yesterday, made for a mess much further in on metro area roads.

Today's crazy weather is much further east. Weather Aware, Florida/Georgia line.

Storms moving through here all day today. We are supposed to get a month's worth of rain in 5~6 hours. Oh, throw in some tornado watches, hail and all the rest. Very warm and muggy this morning when I left the house at 6am.

Arrow Meanwhile In Wyoming ...

I just left Cheyenne headed eastbound on I-80 and had 24 hours of stressful driving.

Portions of I-80 have been closed (4) of the last (5) days.

Black ice - blowing snow - semi wrecks - 40 to 60 mph sustained winds.

Avoid I-80 thru Wyoming for the next few days.

Finally got enough snow to break out the John Deere (barely). Had about 5 inches yesterday, but enough to justify me playing in the snow

Jon.

27 degree temperature drop between yesterday's high and today's low here. I was in a tee shirt yesterday and there was wet snow this morning.

Looks like a "fun" Spring day shaping up in the Southern Plains.
Big HAIL is the threat here & further SE into NE Texas & LA.

Seems communities SE of Dallas are getting hammered with big hail right now.
Not something you want to wake up to
