The last 10 months I have been looking at Birds that were sold at California Dealerships.
I noticed that Birds from San Jose and NORTH North seem to be Norwood cars.
Just a non scientific observation.

I have another non-scientific observation;
The only place in Canada that I have observed VN cars is the lower mainland of BC;
The only place in the USA that I have observed VN cars is California, Oregon, and Washington.

Speaking just for the '70 model year... I've seen invoices for VN cars that were sold in NV, AZ, TX, OK, CO, and KS, too.

It’s been -20 Fahrenheit recently. I don’t think Sky was able to made room in his garage before winter hit, so I’m thinking the formula is outside under a tarp until at least the start of April.
I’m trying to get him to cut some of his fleet loose. He’s got a yard full of birds with plans for almost every one of them. Now that he has something really truely cool, if I were him I’d put all my effort into it, and let the others go.

This is my thread,
The owner of this car, my friend Sky, just offered to sell the car to me.
If I bought it I would probably flip it,
What is your opinion on what this car is worth?

It deserves to be restored properly. If you are going to flip it, just clean it and make it presentable in original condition and market it as that, good, honest and original.

In the FWIW maybe "grain of salt" category,...the latest Black Book CPI Guide places a '72 455HO in #4 condition at $16,625, #3 at $29,675. Hagerty's price guide is about 15% less.
How much work or even cleaning has been done since we saw it in the YouTube video?

Based on being in AK, the 106k miles, the fair condition, and non running status, i'd say $18-$20k.

He washed it, and pulled the vinyl roof off. That’s pretty much all he’s done to it.

What's the surface of the roof to quarter panel look like? Mild rust pitting or deep rust pocks on the stripped surface? Another area that is imperative to thoroughly examine is under the rear window filler panel. Many times, moisture has crept down & created pinholes or rusted out areas that require panel replacement of the inner catwalk structure.

On 2nd Gen F-body projects, have always closely examined the lower quarter panels, & lower rear tail panel, even reaching under & carefully squeezing along the bottom of the 1/4 & each trunk drop. Most early 2nd Gen projects fail those tests & need a ton of metal & bodywork $$$$ sunk into them. In order to place a strong approximation of value need to know the condition in these areas.

The roof paint looked really good. Wondering why you felt the need to remove it?
