It is with deep sorrow that I report that Robert (Bob) Wyrick passed this past Saturday. Apparently he passed suddenly. No other information as of yet. He was 73.
Please pray for his wife and family.

Very sorry to hear this. We traded some PM's since I joined this forum, as I understood it, he lived on this side of the Fort Worth/ Dallas area. Never met the man, but always thought I might look him some day. RIP.

Never met the man either, but always thought I might look him some day when I was down there visiting with Skip Fix. RIP.

What a prince of a guy!

Hate to hear Bob has passed.

I met him at a Pilot truck stop early one morning in Memphis and we had breakfast. He was the first person on this board to send me a distributor.

Godspeed my friend!

You will be missed.

Regret reading this.
Remember comparing notes with Bob after he hauled in a golden olive '73 LeMans Sport project. Very similar to a 350 4spd '73 partscar I had hauled in. Such oddball cars & both "fresh cow poop green", optioned so similarly, it was a who would have "thunk" moment

Prayers with Bob's family & friends

Mike Pearson thank you for posting the link to Bob's obituary. I know he was a member of the local North Texas GTOAA Club so hopefully you or someone else here has been able to let other club members know.

Visitation: 6-8pm Monday, October 10, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10am Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Burial: Crowley Cemetery to follow after the chapel service.

Here is a great picture of Bob with a mutual friend, Steven Keithis, at a local drag strip where the three of us met up that day. Also, another pic with Bob and my boy, Sam, one year at the pate swap meet.
