Default Finally some good news

Well I don't post personal stuff on here very often. But this is something I have to share.
In May 2019 my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer. She went through surgery and had part of the right lung removed. Then the radiation treatments came. Those ended in January. Then in May of this year after experiencing severe headaches and loss of balance she was diagnosed with terminal stage four brain cancer.
She went through radiation treatments for that. Now she's going through some other treatments and after a recent trip to the emergency room and getting admitted to the hospital (for the third time in 2 1/2 months) and moving up an appointment for a MRI the doctor gave us the results of that test.
The cancer (for now) has stopped growing and has been shrunk some. Don't know if it's remission but right now we'll take it as she is celebrating her 58th birthday today and looking forward to getting to ride her horse.

Thoughts go out to you both! I’m cancer free for 8 years now, when I wasn’t expected to leave the hospital on my own two feet. Stay strong...stay well keeping strong and positive around her is crucial! If she sees you that way, she will do better through treatments, knowing you are ok will ease her mind to naturally worry about you.

Been through the cancer diagnosis three times with a surgery to go with each one so I know the feeling.... First time in 2006, then 2015 and the last time in 2017.

Had my semi-annual oncology checkup in August (all clear) and now will only have to go in for an annual checkup going forward.

Wishing the best for you and your wife.

Thanks everyone. Don't know how long this is going to last but she was well enough today that she got to ride her horse. Of course I saddled one of mine and rode with her. First time I've let her ride without the horse being on a lunge line.
It is terminal and at most she has been given by the doctors is two years and in the beginning beginning it was doubtful that she would make it to the first of the year.
But everything is one day at a time.
