Paul,
Where exactly is Memory Lane located? I know where PPR is of course, but never saw any salvage yard driving around there in San Pedro.

They're down in the Wilmington area, which is pretty much next door to San Pedro. My business partner told me the place is practically picked clean, not much there...

I emailed the guy and he doesn't have it. It's the Vacuum Hose Harness Assembly...it has 3 vacuum hoses that plug into it and it in turn plugs into another fitting that plugs into the top of the heater/ac control box. Needle in a haystack!!!

JLHarper - thanks, let me know that you find. I'm also going to call that Camaro/Firebird place on Monday...

You're welcome.

No one makes that part aftermarket?
I guess not or you would have posted.

Is it a 67 FB only year/model part?

I'll keep my eyes open for you down this way.

You'd think somebody makes it...what do the folks do when they're doing a resto?

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me...much appreciated...

Was the AC system the same in Camaros in 67? If so, that part may not be as rare as you think.

I talked to the owner of a huge resto shop in Huntington Beach (they did the underdash wiring for my car) and he knew exactly what I was talking about; he also said the Camaro piece wasn't interchangeable...

If those fresh air doors will default in a closed position, I'm just going to hook those vacuum hoses up directly, as I'll have no other choice.

Blackcherry, my Firebird, she really tests my patience and resolve..:censored:

I've had more friggin' problems with her...

Thats a Chevy part #
I know when you PMed me a couple of wks ago about this, you said some expert told you it wasnt same as 67 Camaro.
My last complete 67 Camaro system was shipped off to Brazil and I only have pieces parts of other 67s
I do remember having another system out of a 67 Firebird Sprint
and tagged the hoses when I pulled it,but that was in the early 70s so it will take me a while to find it.

According to him...yes...

All I need is that goofy little piece, everything else is there. If you've got it, that's awesome. That little thing is holding up the underdash getting put back together!
