Cant comment on rally 1 lug nuts, but the normal acorn style rally 2 nuts work on honeys. Are the rally 1 different?

Any lug nut with a 45 degree tapered face will work. Back in the day they came with the jacketed GM nuts. They didn't last very long with impact wrenches as the jacket deformed and made the OEM nuts impossible to use.

The chrome Rally one nuts with the plastic disc in the end will work fine on the funnycombs. Back in the day I used regular steel OEM nuts on my 73 Grand Am that came with funnycombs on it after the jackets deformed on the OEM jacketed nuts. Ideally a 45 degree seat acorn solid chrome aftermarket nuts is a good replacement for the jacketed GM nuts also.

I also had 2 of the funnycombs on my stock cars with the rubber poly cast centers removed. They look similar to a chevy rally wheel after you remove the centers. Instead of oval slots the Pontiac wheels have a triangular slot, and are really strong when you need a wheel that needs to stiff against lateral force during cornering. They're much lighter after removing the poly cast centers too. In my signature pics the 69 GP has the funnycombs with centers removed.

I was never fond of the look of the wheels as they came from the factory, plus they weigh a ton.

I hope that information helps you with choice of lugnuts.

Thanks guys perfect I have the tin covered repop ones on and like said the tin spins or deforms every time I remove a tire. The rally 1 that I have look to be a more solid lugnut. Thanks again

If you dont care about originality, these 1 piece chrome lug nuts work great, I have them on a set of rally 2 & they are supposed to mimic the stock look but not outer shell to mess with. Have had them on the car for 10+ years & the chrome plating looks like new.
