That Grand Prix looks like a pretty good deal?

I'm gonna lean across the fence and say that GP isn't a 455 car , or a 455 engine.
The 455 XF code engine came with dual snorkel air cleaner ... and pretty sure with chrome valve covers too.

It looks pretty virgin underhood , would still be an XH code 400cid / 350hp with #13 heads at minimum. Also a great engine.

You can see tattle-tell markings on quarters where vinyl top trim was removed.
Still a nice deal for the price . imo

Translation = he probably did the listing using his phone and the text size was too small to proof-read. LoL

low number production = hatchback

98% complete = he doesn't know what all its supposed to have or what's missing - but there is stuff that goes with it.

has very little = hopefully very little rust

Seems the missing engine would comprise more than 2% of the car...

You would think with all that work done to it he would have a lot more pictures. I would love to own that anyways!

This car been Chopped, Channeled, and Sectioned. Wheelbase has changed from 100 to 120 inches.I do not have any history on it, but it has spent over the last 30 years in the Portage de Sioux, IL ares. (North of St Louis)Will be sold with a Bill of Sale.

I was looking at the current issue of Rodder's Journal magazine and saw this in the back pages.

There are enough differences that I'm sure it's not the same car, but it's interesting that two separate people built similar Pontiacs since they weren't a common choice for customizing.

Why is the engine a different color in each of the pics?

It apparently has two different engines as well! Maybe one for the street, one for the track?

I'm going to guess the blue engine was the original 400. The compression ratio for a 455 with 16 heads wouldn't be very street friendly.
