Default floorpan

Hi guys, I would like to know if the lip from the firewall goes under or over the floorpan lip,where they meet.Oh its a 69 GTO.Thank you everyone.

Firewall section goes beneath the floor pan section ... at least on a 68 A-body it does. You didn't specify what vehicle.

I'm sorry,it's a 1969 gto.Correct me if I'm wrong,firewall will be on the outside of the floorpan.Thank you very much for you're help.

Here is an image of the floor pan I patched on my 68. In the area of the tranny hump you can see the firewall section underneath/outside the floorpan section. I didn't replicate the overlap in my patch since there were areas close to the firewall that needed help.
